Testimonials

Since beginning my personal transformation, I have been incredibly fortunate to meet such amazing people! It’s a testament that when you discover your true identity, extraordinary opportunities and people appear in your life. I can’t take the credit for this and I feel enormously fortunate and grateful.

I am sorry I was not able to attend the conference and finally meet you and hear you present.  Especially as my colleagues said the conference was the best one ever and that your session was of huge value to so many of our attendees. You did a wonderful job.  Closing an event is never easy but those who attended your session described it as an inspiration which is pretty much the highest praise any speaker ever gets!  And the comments leave me in no doubt that you didn’t just inspire but also provided really useful information that they will be able to apply in their lives and workplaces.  In short you made a difference.  How cool is that?! I look forward to finally meeting you this week at our Corporate Culture event – I just know you will hit it out of the park again!

I wanted to reach out to tell you what a pleasure it was, meeting you yesterday and, having you speak at our event. The informal feedback I’ve received in the last 24 hours shows what an awesome impact your stories, personal journey and overall message had on our attendees. Many participants left feeling truly inspired to dig deep within and take action in their own lives. You asked me when you first arrived if we were in line with meeting our objectives – in my mind, that alone tells me we exceeded them. In addition to the value of your message, you are an amazing speaker to work with! Fun, laid-back, passionate, down-to-earth and truly authentic in every sense. I absolutely dig your vibe. Thank you again, John. While we won’t have our evaluation report for a couple of weeks, I’m confident in saying you were definitely the highlight of the 2-day event!

Thanks again for speaking at our national meeting. I’ve heard rave reviews about your presentation. I think you really touched upon some key issues for people in the room.

Shawn Achor | Happiness Researcher, Author, and Speaker

John Stix is a rare breed: someone who combines the business credentials of being one of the most successful co-founders in the telecommunication world, the passion of someone leading a movement, and the skills of a natural born speaker who knows how to connect with an audience and motivate them toward change.  Usually someone possesses only one of those dimensions.  John is able to pull from his leadership experience as a President, his entrepreneurial successes and trials as the head of a tech incubator, and as a practitioner of the tenets of positive psychology.  His unassuming passion is contagious.

That was the first official standing ovation we’ve ever had after a speech in the 12 years we’ve been doing conferences. We have amazing content but John’s message really hit home and captivated our hearts and got all of us up on our feet, some tears came out but that’s the type of empowerment that IMA is very much aligned with.

Rarely do you come across people with whom, from the very first meeting, you develop a very deep and meaningful relationship. That is what happened with my very dear friend – John Stix. He came all the way from Canada to Australia to attend one of my programs and we were both keynote speakers. From our very first meeting we developed one of the most profound relationships.

Nowadays, you rarely come across successful young individuals who display such interest in spiritual topics. However, from our very first meeting I saw that John not only had a deep spiritual inclination but adapted a lifestyle solely based on spiritual values. Since then I have seen how concerned he is to provide the people of this world a better life with spiritual awareness. He truly wants to use his material success as a means to benefit others spiritually – use his material assets for others spiritual upliftment.

Sincere souls like John are a real asset for this world who come to enrich this world and make it a better place to be in. I wish him all success in all his endeavors that are so earnest in helping others to achieve a life full of prosperity and joy.

I had shift in thinking, in being, in 2018. My career had evolved.  I was aligned with some of Canada’s greatest companies.  Chairing Special Olympics.  A board member of the Canadian Olympic Committee. But something was missing.  And I didn’t even know it.

I had lunch with John Stix at the beginning of the summer.  We talked about purpose and intention, potential and abundance. We talked for hours.  I joked with him that I hadn’t talked like that for years and years.  A very special connection happened that day. Going through the process of publicly coming out as a gay man 20 years ago, I had spent a good part of my younger life looking inward, struggling to be true to myself.

But as time wore on, the pace of life, the mechanics of business, the responsibility of age slowly took me away from that.  I had stopped connecting deeply to ME. But after that lunch with John something in me shifted. By the end of the summer I found myself embarking on a new project that connected me deeply to my purpose.  It was completely inspired.  Came out of nowhere.

Actually, it came out of a very special lunch with a really great man.  Such is the power of John’s connection.

John Stix is the embodiment of purposeful positive spirit . He is always in search of ways to improve the lives of those around him. He is highly motivated and driven in particular to protect children and elevate the human condition through community engagement. We need more people to see the world as he does.

Hillary Cahill | Vice President of Marketing for Cayman Enterprise City

It was such a pleasure to see John Stix present at the IMPACT16 conference in Cayman. He is an awesome, engaging speaker who is full of energy and very  passionate.  I loved his authentic content on creating a corporate culture and every head in the room was nodding as John spoke, as he reminded even us seasoned entrepreneurs, how important our staff, their needs and creating a great culture is to the success of any business. I highly recommend John as a speaker – he’s like a young dynamic Tony Robbins on steroids.

Jordon Brock | Good Think Inc.

Jordan Brock Partner at Shawn’s company Good Think Inc. said, “I deal with Fortune 100 leaders on a daily basis and most are bought in theoretically to the importance of corporate culture and happiness. John, however, not only lives and breathes corporate culture; he puts it into practice on a daily basis at Fibernetics. We are so excited to work with John spreading the science of happiness to companies worldwide!

Cheryl Hickey | Host of ET Canada

John exudes a positive energy you can feel, you can see it, it just is. He reminds us we deserve to be happy but you have to put in the work. He teaches how important it is to be part of the solution. His gift is his ability to care for people in its truest sense. He teaches us to not believe the fear we stock pile as adults the kind that cripples us, ultimately crippling a company. He takes everything down to a primal level so we can begin to build the life we were meant to live, authentically.

Julie Zuzek | Founder The Corporate Yogi

If you’re looking for a speaker who can inspire and engage a crowd, then you’re looking for John. He is a natural storyteller and shares his experiences in a way that is accessible and inspirational to his audience. He recently spoke at Spark the Change and shared his journey at Fibernetics – how their recent focus on employees and culture fundamentally impacted the company and their bottom line. Deep down inside we all want to believe that a focus on employees and culture yields better workplaces, but it takes courageous leaders like John to make this leap of faith and tell others all about it.

I have had the true honour of getting to know John personally and professionally. Life changing for me on both fronts. He is a truly gifted spiritual gangster. I work in an industry that is being disrupted as we speak with technology etc. By embracing this fact and implementing John’s strategy around human interaction and culture I am truly excited for our great future. We had the privilege of John speaking at The Net Diligence conference in Toronto. The feedback was unbelievable.

Many people talk about authenticity, purpose, identity and how these important ideas relate to building strong cultures at work. John Stix is unique among them all in that he actually has implemented and executed them in his highly successful organization as an entrepreneur-owner. And perhaps more importantly, he lives the wealth of wisdom he teaches and speaks about, in ways that are compelling, palpable and transformative to anyone who knows and has the honor of working with him. If you are serious about building relationship-centered, high performance organizations that actually focus on the value of each human being to bring their unique existential footprint to the work they are engaged in doing, then stop wasting time with the want-to-be gurus out there who pontificate about things they have studied and not done, and give yourself the privilege of working with a sage businessman who has actually done culture transformation and who is the embodiment of head, heart and guts.

It is our absolute pleasure to be able to share our experience with John Stix and the “I’M IN” process. The “I’M IN” process is as transformational as it is inspiring, and it allowed our team to form and emotional bond as we collectively discovered the authentic identity of Avant Global. In doing so, our internal team was able to feel deeply connected to the company. In just two days, John helped us create our new company values, mission, and mantra, which are now care parts of our business.

The best part about working with John is feeling his passion and heartfelt desire to positively impact the lives of the companies and people he works with. In addition to his admirable skills, John is also an incredibly genuine person who adds positivity and thought to every conversation. He is the real deal; it is rare to encounter someone who exceeds expectations like he does.

We would recommend John and the “I’M IN” process to anyone who wants to create a company culture which has the potential to radically transform the internal dynamics of the company and its purpose in the world. He is a true leader, and he leads from his heart. We are grateful to call him a true friend.
